Tasks:

Your main responsibilities will include;

•Ensuring the service is executed in accordance to ABB’s guidelines, trouble shooting manuals and OHS standards.

•To follow all relevant OHS rules and training requirements as well as keeping the often very tight time schedule agreed between End Users and ABB sales

•Repair /upgrade of Drives as per service orders.

•Quick response to customer calls.

•Attending jobs with complete preparedness, to give professional approach and to ensure quick and correct completeness of the job.

•Ensuring proper team work and support each other in the team whenever required.

•Performing warranty repairs and complete warranty handling procedures.

•Updating details of installed database.

•Providing the End User with consultancy service with regards to the maintenance procedures and spare parts supply in accordance with ABB guideline thereby increasing the reputation of ABB and where applicable generating additional sales

•Staying in constant touch with the product support line to make sure that the End User is completely informed about the progress of his service work at all times

•Ensuring timely completion of site reports, time sheets etc.

•To be accountable for spare parts, tools and equipment that are/is required in order to complete the job at hand

•Providing customer training for ABB products.

•Ensuring availability over phone/ E-mail

•Promoting AMCs & PMCs etc.

•Supporting ServIS installed base update.

Requirements:

Ideally you should be having a Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical engineering background with Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in the similar field. You should be Willingness to travel and having a Local driving license. Preferably you should be have a Knowledge about Oman market. Omani National Preferred
