As a member of the Management team, the Executive Chef is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership. This position reports to the hotel General Manager.
In this role you will be responsible to function as the Production Manager for the Food and Beverage Department, to ensure that all the outlets and banquets operate successfully, in accordance with Hyatt’s standard. This vital role includes directing and supervising food preparation in the hotel and ensure the highest-level quality and consistency as relates to food handling, food quality and food presentations while maintaining established operational standards and maximizing profits for the hotel.
Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production. Minimum 2 years work experience as Executive Chef. Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity and sustainability are a must. Hotel pre-opening experience of great advantage.
