RESPONSIBILITIES:

{PS..0}·         {PS..1}The Test and Commissioning Manager will prove all elements of the MEP and Special Systems such that they achieve acceptance.

{PS..2}·         {PS..3} Develop, implement and manage the Test and Commissioning Strategy to ensure that  MEP and Special Systems fulfils all related contractual obligations

{PS..4}·         {PS..5}Provide support and guidance to System Package Managers and Sub-contractors to ensure Test and Commissioning documentation is prepared and submitted in accordance with contractual and internal process requirements

{PS..6}·         {PS..7}Actively manage the Testing and Commissioning processes throughout each stage of the project lifecycle

{PS..8}·         {PS..9}Liaise with the project Scheduler and System Package Managers to ensure that Test and Commissioning activities are planned, resourced and executed within schedule constraints

{PS..10}·         {PS..11}Responsible for successful execution of each Test and Commissioning phase for each System Package ensuring they achieve contractual acceptance.

{PS..12}·         {PS..13}Ensures test plans are developed by subcontractors and that they are compatible with the contract requirements.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications    

  • A degree in MEP preferably Mechanical bias or electrical with a good deal of Mechanical knowledge.
  • Post Graduate education with a B of S in the MEP field of works
  • Must have on site Project experience from initial design through to handover and completion. Must have airport experience
  • 15 or more years’ of working on Multi- Million Dollar projects within the Construction MEP Field
  • Minimum of 10 years working on an airport project.
  • Use of the MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) PLC based control Electrical
  • Installation knowledge.
  • An understanding off electrical, network (ASi/ProfiBUS) and system test tools.
  • Working within an ISO 9001 environment with Change management (on site software) control.
  • Test supervision and result management, Production of completion documentation for handover to client.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels internally and with the client.
  • Good personal planning, organisational and analytical skills with the ability to operate whilst under time pressure and demanding constraints.
