Officer – Campus Services Department – Middle East College – Muscat

Qualifications & skills required:

  • Bachelor holder with specialization in the area of Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Should have good verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Head of Campus Services in day-to-day operations.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of administrative support personnel assigned to support these efforts at the college level.
  • Day to day maintenance of office, including all requirements of Office and housekeeping.
  • Keeping records of college property and organizing its periodical maintenance.
  • Responsible for providing office support to staff in a variety of settings.
  • Acts as a liaison between the college, accounting, purchasing, and Support departments and ensures compliance with policy and procedures.
  • Administers processes for inventory control and disbursements.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Assesses and monitors facility repairs to ensure cost effectiveness and establishes criteria for repair versus replacement of facilities.
  • Preparing and arranging the expatriate personnel’s pick up on joining and assisting in locating accommodation.
  • Liaison with internal departments to understand requirements if any to improve the various facilities available in the college campus.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.
