As the Junior Engineer-Capacity Management & International Services you will be responsible of dimensioning transmission network capacity to achieve Ooredoo long-term business need to plan and design the interconnectivity with global partners to meet international customer service requirement.
You will be responsible of monitoring the transmission capacity utilisation, dimension and analyses current and future capacity requirement, optimising and tuning capacity utilisation to cut cost and improve efficiency, designing and proposing the end to end capacity expansion plan, planning and allocating the network resource to build up the transmission connectivity for daily business need, tracking the MIU capacity utilisation with international partners, planning and following up the activities to eliminate the LL and MW link and save the OPEX cost, planning and implementing the site capacity expansion, designing solutions for international services, maintaining the network capacity database, engaging in the business customer feasibilities and interaction with NOC to establish required transmission links, planning and following up with NOC for sites migration from MW to IP/MPLS ATN network, planning for cutover and integration of FTTX customer into Ooredoo network, FOC performance verification and acceptance, involving in Ooredoo submarine cable deployment including the initial design from wet to dry part, ensuring the alignment between company strategy and section objectives, ensuring good communication with other departments, internal and external customers and service providers, regular knowledge sharing within department an setting up own development plan.
You should have a bachelor degree in telecommunication with a minimum GPA of 3 with knowledge in other access technologies like FOC, SDH, WDM, fluent in written and spoken english and arabic, MS Office proficiency and knowledge of telecommunication operations.
