Store Manager – National Paints LLC – Muscat

We are a multinational company among the leading paint manufacturers in the world. We are searching for an experienced, self-motivated individual to fill the role of for our Oman business unit.

Responsibilities:

i. Maintain inventory levels according to the lead time.

ii. Create daily reports in ERP system for finished goods movement and minimum stock levels.

iii. Cooperate with sales department in demand plan.

iv. Cooperate with production to utilize the capacity in maStore Managerximum and send work orders accordingly,

monitor special orders production etc.

v. Cooperate with accounting department and provide required reports, perform monthly stock

counting, produce invoices on time etc.

vi. Prepare and schedule daily all outbound shipments according to company’s policy for deliveries.

Strive to keep transportation costs low.

vii. Contact with customers whenever required. Represent the company in proper way and provide

customer service in the expected level.

viii. Provide leadership to our warehouse team and delivery truck drivers. Organize people in teams,

assign clear and specific duties, establish time schedule for each team. Monitor team and

individual performance.

ix. Create a floor plan for the store and optimize the work flow and space. Ensure that products are

stored properly and as per their specs.

x. Keep the area under his responsibility clean, functional and in cooperation with HSE manager

ensure that the operations are performed in a safe way and conform to Civil Defense rules.

xi. Keep all machinery functional and maintenance records.

xii. Be responsible for all store operations, provide leadership and looking for continuous

improvement.

Required Qualifications

– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.

– Basic Accounting knowledge.

– 10+ years’ field logistics experience.

– At least 3 years in managerial position.

– Experience in paints or building materials will be considered as extra.

– Proficient in ERP software and MS Office.

– Excellent verbal and written skills in English language.

– Experience in GCC countries

The appropriate candidate should have experience of managing teams of 30+ people, responsibility of 4 million USD goods under his custody, work in a multi-cultural environment and work with KPIs.

Arab Nationalities or Arab language speakers will be preferred. You should be eligible to work in Oman.
