The Continental Chef is required to know well about Continental cuisines to ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the recipe and to the correct quantity. He should be Responsible for the efficient and profitable functioning of the Kitchen

  • · Take responsibility for delivering the highest measures of food production and presentation to the customers including managing the live cooking stations if required
  • · Monitor food consumption to ensure 100% customer satisfaction also the food wastage is minimized
  • · Monitor the presentation of food to ensure that it complies with company standards and set guidelines
  • · Monitor grooming and personal hygiene of the team to ensure that the standards are maintained
  • · To ensure that the kitchen is being kept clean and tidy at all times as per the standards
  • · Analyze food costs and determine the most cost-effective recipes while ensuring that standards are maintained
  • · Identify optimal, cost-effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same
  • · Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies
  • · Follow all company operational kitchen process and procedures, achieving all required standards
